Yes Means Yes? Dead on Arrival!
We have much more important stuff than to worrying about creating laws for stuck up educated whores. Such a law would not empower woman but would totally symbolically castrate men. Yes means yes, is to say we must beg a woman every step of the way, of our every sexual intercourse experience. Which would make it much safer to hire a prostitute and exploit them for sex. But whenever she wants it she can take it, as long as we get hard? I will agree to yes means yes, if the woman has to beg every step of the way and not the men. Lets place to burden on the real horny ones?
This is only intellectualizing sexual assault, which is a act of aggression. Most long term victims of sexual assault are raped as young children. But our statutory rape laws are not about preventing sexual assaults, but the prevention of teen pregnancies. The idea of making it about protecting college educated stuck up chicks? No!
If these people really were concerned with preventing sexual assaults and preventing its long term effect on our society, they would be introducing legislation to protect our most venerable. The very young children who have no voices. You want to help girls grow up be strong woman with high self esteem? Keep these child molesters off of them. Make it law, that every child from age 1 or 2, have a doctors exanimation every them 6 months to a year, until they are about 7 to 10 years old or old enough to speak for themselves, with an understanding sexuality. And we will have society of many less prostitutes, selling their bodies for a drug, trying to not feel what they really do not even know its origin. Why? Because it happens often when they are very young. And become the norm.
